Babies 4 Peace is a homegrown, family company launched by Anni and Jonathan Rodgers in November 2007, the same month they also gave birth to baby MacKinlay James.
The Babies 4 Peace concept sprouted sometime during Anni’s third trimester, when — bombarded daily with dire news about Iraq, Afghanistan, Darfur and beyond – she asked, “What more could we wish for our children than peace? And what more important inheritance could they expect from us?” And, thus, our upstart independent company was born.
Babies 4 Peace recognizes that peace begins with love, and change begins at birth. We believe that, in a world filled with crisis, it is up to this generation of young parents to build a sanctuary for the next. It’s time we took responsibility for the injustice and pain being handed down to innocent children everywhere, and made real strides to stop the tide – to fight for peace.
