Fabricating the phenomenon called Viral Content

Last week I wrote about the fuel of social media and the necessity of abundant friends.  This week I would like to talk about viral marketing. Viral marketing is a marketing phenomenon that facilitates and encourages people to pass along a marketing message voluntarily.

If one can fabricate this phenomenon how does one do it?

If viral marketing is based on natural human behavior you must first identify individuals with high Social Networking Potential.  These are the popular kids that I was referring to last week. Second you will need good content. Good or viral content is the content that the high ‘Social Networking Potential’ is interested in. In theory this content is made viral through the high ‘Social Networking Potential’ deeming your content worthy of praise.

With that said, no one knows what content is worthy of praise that is why it is a phenomenon.
